Digg user underdog5004 advises not to forget to temporarily disable the hotkey F8 for Compiz Fusion (if you are using it), as you need to hit F8 when installing XP.
Digg user Martalli shares that this example is out of date and thinks Virtualbox is in the Gutsy repos. That will make the installation a bit easier.
